Many of them used this advantage wisely to secure their position as an entertainer, creator and even businesspeople when the pop culture market went through industrialization.
“In Korean society, there was a weakening of Puritanism and growing interest in pop culture from the mid 1990s,” says Prof. Hwang Yong-suk of Mass Communication Department at Konkuk University. “Stars born in 1972 are beneficiaries of those changes in the social atmosphere.”

Jang Dong-gun return to Korea on December 22nd

Jang Dong-gun who’s been filming ‘Laundry Warrior’ in New Zealand since the beginning of November, has cleared filming schedule for 23rd December and would return to Korea on 22nd December late afternoon, he’s planning to stay in Korea for a while and follow the arranged personal schedule.

Each of the seven actors helped to record two parts (each part is about one minute and 30 seconds) of campaign clips, that talked about their experience with English language and concurrently emphasize on the importance of English education to promote how EBS English channel could be utilize.

Jang Dong-gun to have a short break from Laundry Warrior’s filming at Christmas

Jang Dong-gun who’s been shooting ‘Laundry Warrior’ in New Zealand since the beginning of last month, would have a Christmas break for a week starting from December 23rd.
The cast as well as the crew from Hollywood and New Zealand expected to have Christmas Holiday. As for Jang Dong-gun who’s been familiar with the hard fact of Korean film production and has prepared to skip Holiday or Festive season, having a break is a surprise.
