Korean consumer food brand Chung JungWon announced on 4 Sept that last month they signed a one-year contract with actor Jang Dong-gun as their CF model and the CF fee is the highest in Korea. According to the person in charge of Chung JungWon, JDG was selected as their CF model because his bright and healthy image matches very well with the image of Chung Jungwon.
JDG who has always portrayed a tough guy image through his movies, showed a gentle image in the recently released Chung JungWon Brand CF. The new CF with the theme “Healthy Proposal” shows JDG proposing shyly to his beloved woman through the billboards on the subway, bus etc
When the CF was first shown at the launching ceremony, all the ladies at the function answered “YES” when JDG said his last line on the screen “JungWon ah, will you marry me?”, as if they really received the marriage proposal from JDG.
Chung JungWon will have 4 CF by JDG in the next one year to enhance its brand image. JDG’s gentle and friendly image in the CF will have a lot of influence on females between the age of 20 – 30 who are the main consumer group of Chung JungWon. JDG’s unique new CF was aired on TV from 3 Sept and the 2nd CF will be aired from early October.
