Before the movie was released many have doubts and even questioned Jang Dong Gun's choice. But when the movie was released, famous movie magazine Film 2.0 chose/named DG as the "Public Figure of the year 2002" and quote him as a very talented actor and one of the minority among actors that know how to make use of opportunities and pave the path to become a successful actor.
